Show Summary

- The attendance turnout was spectacular! 7,725 total participants from 61 international countries.
- More than 100 expert speakers disseminated insight, strategies, creative ideas and business boosting resources during 15 innovative, market-specific symposiums and hands-on workshops.

The men in green are back... The “Blue Man” show is a top drawing show in Las Vegas, but on Thursday the Green Men of Miller Weldmaster Corp., brought the buyers to their booth at Expo. Eric McInnes is shown promoting the new M-100 Multi Seal System which joins straight seamed, multi-wide panels and can be used as a complete fabrication center.
Ray Harries, President of Bally Ribbon Mills, fields questions from a steady stream of attendees at the jam-packed second day of IFAI Expo 2007. Bally opened for business in 1923, and specializes in engineered woven narrow fabrics, specialty broadcloth and woven structures for medical, military, safety, industrial, aerospace, and commercial applications.
Brad Poorman, President of Cocona Natural Technology holds up a sample of a fabric derived from coconut shells. At a time when the worldwide textile industry is searching for “smart,” innovative natural technologies, Cocona fabrics and yarns step up to the challenge with remarkable evaporative cooling, UV protection and odor management.
Hogging the spotlight at Expo was the Takashima U.S.A., Inc. team from left to right: Emiliano Barrios; President Shigeo Kimura; Tomomi Inoue; Gengo Kurokoshi; Ana Diaz; and Julio Santibanez. Their attention-getting booth promoted “Rhino-Tex,” a nylon reinforced vinyl coated fabric which can be used for truck covers, bags, tarps, athletic products, boat covers, industrial and recreational uses.
Michael Labella, US Sublimation/Print Village, presents the the features of the Velotex, an all-in-one-digital direct-to-textile printer and finishing system (dye sublimation or textile pigments for aqueous printing). The Velotex can produce flags, banners, signage displays, and short-run textile productions.
